The example of snowflakes

We may think that our life needs a major shift in direction, and that it will take a major sustained effort.

We may feel despair and and panic at the thought of all that impossible work.

Today’s snowflakes make me think differently.

I am watching all these tiny, insubstantial patterns of moisture as they fall gently on the ground.

They will cover it up completely over several hours.

It is not a major sustained effort.

It is a small efffort repeated many times.

A new life direction can be achieved the same way.

One shift in judegement repeated many times, over several weeks is enough to begin the shift.

The next habit of thought can be addressed in the same way.

Over time, these sustained repetitions create a new environment of thoughts.

The new environment of thoughts attracts a different set of circumstances and events into one’s life.

Gradually, gently, our life assumes a new shape and a new rhythm.

There is nothing in our life which cannot be shifted in this way.

This makes a huge difference from a gentle sustained  effort.

In the middle of peace

Now that I know how to find peace for myself, I can place myself in the middle of peace at any time.

I feel it surround me as I go through my day.

I feel the peace from within and I let it flow out around me.

I carry it with me and I release it to fill up the space in front of me and behind me as I walk.

I remind myself that we are all precious.

I remember that what I have discovered is availalbe for everyone to discover.

I make sure that I am sharing inspiration and peace in whatever ways that I can.

These activities are what keep me in the middle of peace.

Peace is my new home.

Peace in the middle of everything

Since peace comes from within, it is always accessible.

Peace is available in the next breath.

Peace is available wherever we are.

Peace is a substance we carry around with us.

We can draw upon it gently, affirmatively, persuasively.

It can permeate every activity.

It replaces pain.

It replaces pressure.

It replaces uncertainty.

When we draw a deep breath of peace, it moves throughout our being.

We can feel ourselves relax as we breath in deeply.

We slow down time.

We recognize and honor ourselves.

There is nothing we need to do except breathe in peace.

Then when we breathe out, we are adding to the atmosphere of peace around us.

Our peace cancels out confusion around us.

It rolls back the pressure in the atmopshere.

People notice it as we contine our peaceful breathing.

We take a peaceful stance.

This gives us peace in the middle of everything.

This is sustainable peace.

Tiny steps of peace

When I feel disturbed or anxious, it is hard to move forward.

I find I I can calm myself, though, when I consider the tiniest step I can take.

The tiny step may be looking up a phone number in preparation for a call.

It may be sitting down at my art table.

It may be filling up a container with water for art.

It may be sitting still until I feel calm.

I know, that if I take the time, and breathe, and sit, that I will begin to loose my agitation and be able to focus  on peace.

Then I can take my tiny step.

Doing what I love is a practice which has created consistent peace for me.

Taking the many tiny steps to move myself into the peace of doing what I love is totally worth it.

Sometimes I had to pretend that that was not what I was doing.

I had to fool myself out of the old habit of creating tension for myself.

Even though I excelled at getting things done, and I was glad to be able to do so, it was not the same as doing what I love.

My tiny steps have turned into big steps.

I am more at home with myself and more supportive of my own needs.

I live peacefully in beautiful surroundings.

I attract those of like-mind.

I know that my ability to honor myself and to live in accord with my highest values adds peace to the world.

We can take the tiny steps we need to in order to move ourselves into peace.

Were I find peace today

Today, I find peace in my insiprational work.

As I listen for ideas and they fill me up, I write, draw, paint, make videos.

My ideas are turning into ways of sharing.

What I really like is that once the ideas have done their work to comfort, guide and inspire me, they are available to do this work for others.

It gives me peace to turn them into sharable forms.

I feel happy as I work.

I enjoy seeing how the ideas shape themselves in my hands.

Some of them become art.

Some of them become meditations.

Some of them become videos with voiceovers.

All of the ideas which come to me demand to be shared.

I am learning new skills, expanding into the on-line community, and becoming visible.

These are all things I never expected.

Such a new way to experience life.

Deeply peaceful, joyful, relaxing.

Settled Replaces Troubled

What is troubling you?

What is keeping you in an unsettled state of mind and body?

As you address the issues which are confronting you, which one calls out the most for healing?

Listen within to hear the tiny message of peace.

Let that tiny moment expand until you can hear what you need to do.

Perhaps you need to be patient with yourself.

Perhaps you need to gain the courage to take action.

Perhaps you need to be more compassionate and understanding with yourself in order to move forward and to communicate with someone else about the issue.

You will hear whatever is needed.

As you gain practice in listening within whenever you are troubled, you will find the way out of your troubles.

You will find yourself living in more settled circumstances which you create for yourself.

You will be able to trust the ideas and direction which comes to you when you listen within.

This practice will come to govern and maintain your life.

Become settled in your mind and you will no longer be troubled.

All-Inclusive Being and being

In times of stress, it is good to think about all-inclusive Being.

I like to remember that my being is part of this all-inclusive Being.

I like the feeling that I can turn within to hear the Guidance that I need at any time.

When I am in a creative mode, I feel the flow of ideas.

When I am in pain or surprised by sudden terror, I can take a moment, and feel the deep peace within me.

I can give myself the time to figure out my best course of action.

When I am in meditation, I like to spend time feeling the nearness of comfort and how it extends infinitely around me.

I like to immerse myself in the feeling of being safe.

I move from the feeling of being safe into quiet happiness.

I quietly revel in my safety and happiness.

It is something I can return to over and over again.

This is a big change from the hyper-alertness I cultivated all my life.

It is an amazing feeling that I can be safe and enjoy being happy.

I love that I can comtemplate the immensity of all-inclusive Being and find myself there.

It is a peaceful feeling to simply be.

As I expand my peace, I see that I have all that I need.

I can always feel fulfilled as long as I start from all-inclusive Being.

I can always feel safe and be guided to safety when I need it.

It is a true gift that I discovered from within.

That is where I find it, every time.

Total Reformation

I start with the issue which bothers me the most.

I start the process of listening within.

As I observe my discomfort, the ideas I need to reform begin to come to me.

I may desire to correct a habitual attitude.

I may need to correct a skill I am learning.

I may need to evaluate my involvment in a particular project.

The solution comes for whatever I want to reshape or redirect.

As I take my tiny steps, I begin to see a shift.

The tiny steps allow me to move gently in a non-threatening way as I inform myself of my new direction.

My desire for freedom and progress insures that I will continue my work.

As I gain some skill and the new habit replaces the old attitude, I can feel the difference.

I know that I will continue all the way to a level of refinement for total reformation.

I appreciate the gentleness of my tiny steps of progress.

I see them add up into a significant shift.

I gain happiness and confidence.

I am comfortable with my gentle approach.

Each tiny step is helping to build a foundation without gaps.

When I reach my goal without pressuring myself, I will be able to sustain it.

I give myself the time to absorb my new practices.

I enjoy my new skills and my new perspective.

Beautiful Self-Care

Wherever you are this season, with others or on your own, you owe yourself the most considerate self-care.

Your peace of mind is achievable as you return to the thought of your inner connection.

As you listen within, you feel the guiding peace which is always available to you.

In the midst of celebration preparation and activities, you can take a deep breath to create a moment of peace for yourself.

As you feel the peace, you can expand the moment into a second deep breath.

As you feel your poise returning to you, take your third deep breath.

This seals your connection with the beautiful presence of self-care right in the midst of busy holiday celebrations.

Keep the peace within as you enjoy your day.

Standing in Stillness

Ideas come to us in quietness and stillness.

That is how we know they are ours when we hear them.

When we reach out from a peaceful state, we open ourselves to peaceful answers.

The answers we receive through peace and quiet and stillness are a true Guide.

In one breath, we can reach out.

In an instant we can receive a safe next step.

As we habitually listen, our large projects take on a far-reaching power of peace.

Our many tiny steps which give us a foundation without gaps, allow us to take the next step safely.

Willingness to listen in quiet and stillness creates a trusting and clear atmosphere in which to progress.

There is no confusion, just listening.

At the right time, an answer appears and action is easy to take.

The deep trust is what eases us into action.

Standing in stillness is where we start.

Completing the Circuit

I have been on a quest for many years to know how to communicate my ideas with the public.

Through many steps of personal healing, I have been brought to wholeness and completeness.

Throughout all the many tiny steps, I have been building a foundation from which to share.

It is natural then, that at long last, I have discovered the right platform for electronic communication and sharing.

Even though I tried several other modes and methods, there was still a large gap.

As I came to identify myself differently, my view about myself totally changed.

With this new view, I have been able to make new connections effortlessly.

I find myself engaging with others in new and uplfiting ways.

I am so very grateful to be a witness from the inside out of this amazing process.

It is pure grace.

Neither Too Much Nor Too Little

I am living in a perfect place and perfect time.

I have neither too much nor too little.

Whatever I need appears as a matter of course.

I am in tune with my inner Guidance and that is how It provides for me.

The problems and obstacles which I encounter are guideposts for what I need to learn.

As I listen alertly and intently, I am given exact guidance on what to do and when to do it.

I am able to correct habits of lack through listening to my inner Guidance.

My new action reflects my new lessons and I move forward in new ways.

I am accountable to my Higher Power and I would not want to neglect those duties.

I am given overflowing abundance and security as I listen exactly.

I am given wealth and prosperity as I learn how to express it.

It goes out in service to those who will most benefit and it returns to me in ways that I most benefit.

My own view, from within, is the only important one.

The impressions of others are only partial.

My life lies clearly before me in every detail as I hold myself accountable to my inner listening.

There is Always a Solution

Solutions are in process for problems we are aware of and also for problems which we are not aware of.

We bring ourselves into the solutions when we acknowledge this process.

We cannot decide how a solution should come about, but we can know that it is happening.

When all the elements are ready, the solution becomes evident.

The fact that there is so much disruption shows that solutions are moving forward.

The current upheaval is due to the fact that a problem has met with opposition.

This opposition will continue until all are reconciled and laws which create good for all are enacted.

We all have the mental capacity to imagine good for all.

That starts the engine of solutions.

As we engage with the activity of raising our level of interaction with everyone to be supportive and encouraging, our communities will reflect this attitude.

It will become evident that, used properly, there are enough resources for everyone.

Greed will lessen until it disappears, because it will no longer be satisfying.

It will feel so good to see children thriving as they recieve the resources they need.

Happiness within the home will increase and restore a balance of harmony throughout the community.

People will create work they love which contributes to the prosperity of the entire community.

Those who do the work which needs to be done will be appreciated and recognized.

There will be a feeling of well-being and safety which includes every member of the community.

This will create satisfying and beneficial effects between communities.

Our entire life throughout our country wil be built on the grassroots practices which value everyone.

This will nourish our sense of universal values and raise our standing in the world.

Learning Peace

The experiences I need show up right on time.

As I become aware of them, I am given insight into their deeper meaning.

I learn to receive their gifts.

It is a challenging time to learn peace as a consistent state of being.

I learn to discard all distractions, and I gain another moment in sustaining my peace.

There is no rush to complete things.

Each step can be done in a state of peace.

Being in a state of peace allows much wider observation.

Instead of being preoccupied by accomplishing the next step, I can relax and feel my surroundings.

I am no longer cocooned in a state of deep concentration in order to distract myself from pain.

I am gradually becoming in touch with my senses and taking in my surroundings.

I am safe.

I am in a safe place.

I am visibly seen in a good light.

What I do is appreciated.

I am given support as I take my new tiny steps.

The support comes in unexpected ways.

There is a lot of compassion surrounding and supporting me.

I am doing what I love to do and I am being seen in positive ways.

I am standing up for myself in ways which support who I am and what I do.

The threatening distractions fall away as I become confident and continue my practice.

I feel the peace as I maintain my alignment with who I am and what I do.
