Peace and Purpose

To be involved in what is most important to me gives me deep peace.

I am so grateful to arrive at this point in self-knowledge.

I am so grateful to have been given the resources in every way to develop my talents.

I am in a position to hone them now.

I appreciate the support around me.

It has taken a lot of “within” to see the “without”.

Now that it is showing up, I actually do feel much better.

It is good that any other path was intolerable.

I listen much better and without pushing.

I wait more patiently instead of backtracking.

I know the completeness of this.

I feel it.

I enjoy it.

I wait for it.

It is right here.

Peace in Simple Happiness

I am finding peace in simple happiness.

I enjoy looking at the beautiful plants in my yard.

This is the season for flowering and the colors are gentle and delightful.

I like how they all blend, different shades and contrasts.

I am finding my own rhythm in my daily routine.

Instead of feeling pushed, I am taking care of things in what is beginning to have a flow.

I am letting my priorities take, well, priority.

I am finding that I am much, much happier.

Who knew?

I am exploring new skills and finding new interests.

I am starting to get really good at some new skills.

Mainly, I am filling up on gentle peace and happiness and keeping that in mind so it surrounds me when I leave my house.

That is what I want other people to feel when they are around me.

Sweetness

Taking the time to be appreciative of myself lets me move happily and peaceably through my day.

I can begin gently.

I am able to work on what is important, things I love and things that need to be done as part of a routine.

The sweetness of living this way is what appeals to me most.

It is fun to have a dynamic life, and I enjoy intense experiences.

But I also have time now to consider the way I do things.

I can do them in a way that is gentle, sweet, calm, and happy.

A peaceful way.

A way that takes into consideration what I love.

Now that I start with that, it adds a different hue to my day.

I am able to connect with people in simple ways.

I am able to get the help I need.

I am able to make a contribution in the way that suits me best.

Living with sweetness adds a dimension of appreciation that I have found in no other way.

Saving the World Through Compassion

Yesterday I read a couple of articles by people who know and who know why.

Their forecasts, based on past actions and policies, is reasonable.

We are doomed.

However, a new personal and individual policy is afoot.

In fact, many more than in the past are beginning to embrace it.

Increased numbers are causing a groundswell of awareness.

The situation in this country has reached a certain level of intolerance, and people are waking up and acting.

This kind of thing also has a past.

It has caused a change in the course of events.

Through compassionate and aware leaders, whole nations have changed course.

We are all leaders and we all have the power to change our course.

So what if it hasn’t been done before on this scale?
(although this is always the way it has been done)

It is being done now.

The guidance of all the wisdom teachings is coming home.

We want all of us to live well, not by profit, but by compassion.

What a marvelous shift in awareness.

What a marvelous direction for all of us.

Filling Up With Happiness

I realize that I have things I have to do every day.

Since I can control my attitude toward them, I have decided to feel wonderful and happy.

The things that come in do not have to make me happy, but I can choose to fill myself up with happiness and then decide how I will do them.

I don’t surge from sad to happy to mad to calming down when I do this.

I start with happy, come back to happy and work from happy.

Things get done in a very different way.

It is not a relief to get something done.

It just  gets done.

It is less of a production to carry something out.

I am better able to get what I need together and carry it out.  (Better.)

I am choosing happy more and more.

This is a better approach.

No Complications

It doesn’t really matter does it, except that one is able to move forward?

If you have an idea, and it seems good that it came to you, does it really matter what shows up along the way?

Sometimes, I suppose, it could be support.

Sometimes, there are obstacles.

But still, you are pulled onward, and given ways to overcome, or go around, or simply ignore, the obstacles.

And sometimes, you have an unexpected conversation, and that gives you support.

And so you move forward.

There are ways of solving the problems along the way and removing persistent obstacles.

I am learning about all of these.

Discovering Peace for Today

Focusing on what is important gives me peace.
Discovering it from within, begins the day with peace.
I find I am connected to whatever I need for that day.
I can do what I need, either in anticipated ways, or ways which are unexpected.
By offering what I love, others respond.
By doing what is required by others, I only get so far.
Focusing on what is within allows it to be released.
The Within releases itself when it is seen.
It naturally draws others to it.
