Contributing Peace

When we contribute a moment of peace in the midst of excitement, disruption or turmoil, it sends out powerful gentle ripples.

People who are close to us feel the gentle moment of peace.

They pause in their excitement or confusion.

Their pause creates more peace and touches those who are a close to them.

As we go through our day, we create more and more ripples of peace until that is the kind of day we can expect.

Drawing our thoughts of peace to us and sending them out instead of reacting to the day’s drama, changes the kind of day we can expect and creates more peace for those around us.

Changes That Are Happening

There is a conversation, a dialog.

Everything is not the same, going the same downward, depressing direction.

People have gotten tired of being in despair, and they are waking up.

There is a political revolution going on.

All the imbalance, injustice, lack of consideration for rights, greed, corruption is finally broad and obvious enough to have reached a tipping point.

There is lots and lots of discussion.

There is lots and lots of action.

This is a time for deep thinking.

It is a time for relief.

It is a time for continuing action.

To keep the momentum going, let’s continue to notice the difference between what is good for everyone and the unbalanced practices of recent politics.

Let us continue to be as dedicated to uplifting practices as possible in our personal actions.

Each action adds another pebble to the pond and increases the power of good and kind and considerate actions.
