Doing Things to Get Ready

I am not always sure what the right way is.

I can feel it though, when it is not ready.

When I was learning to play the cello to a professional level, I had teachers who would tell me when I was ready to perform a piece, take an audition, apply for a scholarship.

I know that standard.

But now, I am doing different things on my own, and I am not always sure when the “ready” happens.

So, for now, I go back and check to see if there is anything else that would make it better.

I listen within for the ideas.

Then I do those things.

I am doing that a lot lately, so I know things are getting closer to “ready”.

I am sure I will feel it when things are at their best point and ready to go.

Then they will happen.

The World Situation

As the world situation gets more and more aggravated, I am forced to realize that the solutions lie in directions that I, within my cultural setting, cannot imagine.

But I do know there are solutions.

Since I do not know what they are, I am able to turn my thought inward to consider the Source of all life, and therefore, of all solutions.

Treading on the ground of those who take lives to pay with their own lives has not worked so far.

It has been tried for several thousand years, and we have made no visible progress.

So there is another way to look at it which we, as world citizens, have not found yet.

But we hear ideas.

We learned about forgiveness and reconciliation in South Africa.

We have learned about “Be Peace” in Costa Rica.

We have learned about random number generator (RNG) computers and the effects that the thoughts of large numbers of people converging in the same direction can have.

We have learned about HeartMath.

There are many visionaries who are communicating ideas beyond what has ever been tried.

And we are all coming to some of the same conclusions.

That is has to be different.

That it has to be something we each discover within ourselves.

That it has to be larger than any one group.

Only then can the larger, more peaceful view take effect.

Higher Consciousness

Although it may not look like it, we are moving to a state of consciousness which values everyone.

The uproar in thought has erupted once again on the streets.

Every child is precious.

All lives, including all races, matter.

There are so many opportunities for reform to allow respect and care for everyone.

We, as a country, were moving in that direction in the 1960’s.

The opposition to this kind of thinking appears to be moving us backwards.

But, it is not.

The backlash is accelerating and bringing in higher consciousness at greater and greater momentum.

What an astounding and marvelous thing is happening for all of us.

Sticking to One Goal

In some of the prosperity literature and workshops I have taken, the essentail point was to stick to your one most important goal.

The idea behind that is that the Universe is working to bring you what you are focused on.

If you keep changing it, nothing will ever actually manifest, because there are so many conflicting messages.

At first, I found it hard to decide what my one goal was, but then, I kept watching where my thought went, and what gave me the most satisfaction.

Then, it became possible.

I do see progress happening now.

My core goal satisfies me completely.

There are many aspects to it and so I find myself meditating and then led to take action on various tasks, all headed toward the one goal.

And the result?

All along the way, I am satisfied and happy as the next step appears and then the next and the next.

I am so glad that it doesn’t mean the goal has to be accomplished in order to experience happiness.

I am enjoying this journey all along the way.

Detaching

Detaching myself from the fears being perpetuated from the media lets in the light of my true conciousness and practical knowledge.

It lets me take the practical steps of listening for inspiration and then acting on it.

In this way, I was able to detach myself from the fear elements in various news stories and find my way not only to inner peace, but to practical steps for creating and promoting and releasing my product line.

This is taking longer than I expected, but it is embracing and encompassing more than I knew to include at the outset.

So, I am very satisfied with this method of business development.

Being Alert

By standing up and being alert, we save ourselves a lot of grief.

Media harassment, unnecessary regulatory calls, authoritarian-sounding queries are examples of exploitation, rather than examples of compassion.

Once we are involved in sharing our gifts, it is easier and easier to detect the opposite.

A friend told me of yet, another, example.

Fortunately, he caught it.

I feel it was due to a heightened ability brought on by aligning himself with his true purpose and work.

When we are not conflicted within ourselves, we have a steady and true light.

Our energy is pure and strong.

We are able to share what is good by being authentic to our deep core values.

Then, it is harder to distract us through deception.

In reading and studying any one of Napoleon Hill’s very principled approaches to lifework, we are alerted to the ways in which a strong positive practice is developed.

The opposite very easily undoes us.

Fortunately, Hill’s work shows us many of those pitfalls.

I am grateful for those who write and practice good work and alertness.

I am glad to part of this growing network.

What Gives Me Peace Right Now?

I have escaped the building holiday frenzy and am back in my cozy home, cooking.

Someone I contacted at a business actually saved me some materials that were going to be thrown away.  Hurray!

I have organic soil-compost mix for a container garden.

My husband has brought home the hole saw to drill holes in the container.

My cousin liked the salsa-lasagna that I cooked.

I have canned two batches of pumpkin.

I expressed appreciation to my husband for cutting up the pumpkin.

I have gained inspiration from a new craft magazine.

I have bought a portable cutting board that will let me take a step forward on several projects.

I folded the laundry.

I have calmed my thought by reading a chapter in an inspirational book.

I have let my husband solve his dilemma and concentrated on my own next step.

I ate a small piece of chocolate (actually two small pieces).

Creativity and Peace

Today, I have been sewing up designs I made about a month ago.

It feels so fulfilling to see them come to life and be finished.

Translating ideas from mind into 3D is a liberating and fulfilling experience.

Liberating because the ideas got designed.

Fulfilling because the ideas made it into space.

The peace of getting things done is truly wonderful.

The deep peace of getting inspired things done is wonderful into another dimension.

Soon, it will be time to make the next designs and then to create the reality.

A nice, happy, peaceful sequence.

Several Pebbles

I have dropped several pebbles of peace into my pond already this holiday season.

I have provided a quiet place to spend Thanksgiving.

I have wrapped a few simple holiday gifts for each of the seven adult children.

We have been sending fun presents all during the summer to our grandkids.

I am giving myself quick intervention against the tide of past unpleasant and hurtful memories, and it is absolutely effective!, I am happy to say.

I have organized the next several fiber projects which I love to do.

I await only the opening of my local quilt shop on Saturday, since they are dong the wonderfully considerate and respectful thing for their employees and families of being closed until then.

I look forward to the return of a wonderful friend after her holiday visit, so that we can have our one-of-a-kind special conversation.

I have support for completing my fiber art journals.

I have bookkeeping help.

I am well on my way to personal food security with my canning and food preservation self-education and practice.

My husband and I have agreed on a place to start our garden on our rural land.

We are enjoying the hospitality of a cousin while we are in town for my husband’s seasonal business.

May loose ends are no longer dangling, and there is hope for catching up some more.

Many more peaceful pebbles are sending out their concentric circles into my world pond.

Outward and Upward

What is the act that will lead outward?

What is the act that will lead upward?

What is the spontaneous act that will convert the world?

We are looking for caring, giving, sharing, compassion, kindness.

We are practice self-centeredness, protection, and building walls.

When will we see we are all loved, cherished and adored?

That it does not depend on the things that wall are made of.

Differences bring us together, invigorate us, expand our empathy.

Need less, we can share more.

Forgetting self-justification, we can act with certainty and understanding.

Can we restore ourselves to higher ground?

Can we include everyone?

All I Need

I have all I need or want everywhere and all the time.

I have an Infinite Source and I live in a Beneficent Universe which loves me.

I am well taken care of and provided for.

All I have to do is listen.

I listen for the ideas of today.

They guide me, they supply me.

I come into contact with exactly what i need for the day.

I enjoy myself.

I am given work I love to do through the listening.

I am given the supplies to do it with.

I am given the help I need.

I know my work is making a difference and is making a contribution to uplifting society and civilization.

I am happy and content.

The Higher Path

There is a higher path to peace and freedom.

The one we are surrounded by is not it.

We are not limited folks with limited lives.

We are not the kind of creation that can be managed and controlled by bullies.

We each have infinite spiritual dimension.

We each have a defined spiritual gift and path.

Following that path leads us into a different kind of life.

When we listen within and take action we are empowered in a different way.

Our inner thoughts always lead upward and outward.

What we do blesses ourselves and all others within the range of our thought.

Let’s not allow ourselves the negative luxury of staying stuck.

We have the inspiration, we have the motivation, we have the means.

Let’s take the higher path.

Deep Peace and Happiness and Joy

During a church service I experienced deep peace.

There is such a relief in being transported out of the worries and pressures of the day and of the season.

There was so much happiness in the celebration and singing, in sermon and song.

During the meditation, everyone was included, even the sounds of an active baby.

I stopped by the bookstore on the way out to buy a book so I could join the current book study.

So much joy is being expressed around me.

My husband received a business call which encouraged him very much in a new venture.

I was able to to help him buy some new equipment which makes the business easier to run.

I picked up some supplies to complete some projects which are one of the ways I express my soul’s offering.

There is deep peace in being able to offer that which satisfies your own soul.

Authentic sharing of deep values offers peace and happiness and joy to those who come in contact with us.

They see it and experience it and it radiates around them and keeps spreading.

Timeless

(written 2014-10-6 In Missouri)

It is timeless out here in our little country cabin.

I watch the changing light, both seasonal and progressively during the day.

I can see farther into the forest as more and more leaves fall.

The summac is turning bight red.

New, tiny flowers, magenta, pale lavender, and yellow, are appearing in the meadow grasses.

I never never been so attune to Nature, not so close.

Bugs are my new friends.

Such a variety and so many activities.

Spiders capturing and eating webworms.

Dragonflies dipping and buzzing across the meadow.

New tiny lizards run from their newest hang-outs when I walk past.

They are bigger every time I see them.

And of course there is “Deer Theatre”.

I feel the time changing.

It is a natural process.

I am no longer rushed.

New Peace in an Old Setting

I was not sure I could maintain my new view once I returned, even temporarily, to an old setting.

It has turned out that I can continue making progress in my new direction, though.

I am grateful to find that the work I have done to give myself a new view even carries over to old settings.

I now include a concise and comfortable temporary work space.

I am able to add to the inspiration I receive daily and to translate it into tangible words and products.

Printing and sewing resources are readily available.

My drives through familiar places do not evoke old feelings, only the remembrance that I once had to deal with them.

I feel I am on comfortable and safe ground.

I did not anticipate this.

I am truly looking at life from a completely new viewpoint.

I am so grateful to discover the effectiveness of how I have learned to rewrite my life.

Deep Peace in the Mojave

Driving with husband in his new over-the-road bus to be converted into a PinewoodDerbyWorkshop...

There is deep peace and deep isolation as we cross the Mojave Desert.

the mountains and sparse vegetation vie a sense of largeness, with lots of spaces for the eye to wander.

During our long ascents and descents, my husband adjusts to a lower gear in our 47-passenger bus (soon to become a mobile woodshop).

The changes in greens, whenever there is a little bit more of it, are dramatic.

The gray-greens, sand-browns and lava-blacks outline long stretches of contour.

The cacti that are beginning to appear feel like a celebration.

There is room for contemplation over the geologic upheaval which caused the Pacific Basin to recede to what is now the California coastline.

Big changes across eons of time.

A Spiritual Message to Make Me Feel Good

That’s what I am listening for.

The message that will make me feel good is this:
We are not at war.

We respect everyone and everything that lives on the earth.

We choose to share our resources widely so that everyone can live well.

We choose to respect that everyone has rights and needs.

We choose to respect that those needs are fulfilled in different ways for different people.

How can I help?

Do I just need to stay out of the way?

I feel I need to share these ideas in all the ways that I can express myself, through  blogs, children’s songs, conversations.

Let us all evolve and develop and grow in the ways that let all of us live well.

Soaking Up More Peace

I have been spending whole days, several in a row, on our land, just looking at the trees across the meadow, the meadow itself, and up the hill where I can see more and more as the leaves fall.

I simply prefer to be there.

I can read, reflect, and write.

Looking through my most recent spirals, I see a lot of creative work which I am transcribing now that I am in an internet cafe and have access to electricity.

We will add solar power and I will have electricity out in the country sometime, as well.

That will save me transcription time, but for now this is a wonderful opportunity to keep soaking up the peace.

There is always more peace as I watch “Deer Theatre”, “The New Vulture Hour”, and observe how the meadow is reestablishing its grasses and flowers now that we are not mowing it.

The succession that we read about in Nature is actually visibly happening in front of me.

This morning, we watched three deer playing in the meadow, running around and leaping for several minutes.

As they disappeared into the forest at the South end of the meadow, a young buck entered it from the North end and walked across.

This is the first buck we have seen in the meadow.  We usually just hear his “huff” as he warns the does to leave.

I take care of what I need in order to carry out a normal days’ activities, but oh, it is so very pleasant out here breathing in the normal rhythm of Nature’s day.

Consistent Peace and Desire

My peace is in the consistency of my choices for it.

I choose not to accept disruptions, within or without.

Past experiences are not relevant except as stepping stones.

Present cultivated consciousness is what keeps me in peace.

It guides all my decisions.

No detail of good living is left out.

There is no need to compensate.

I want and deserve all good.

I live in uninterrupted peace.

My security for all this good is from my in dwelling consciousness of good.

I take the next step in consciously realizing my good each moment that I recognize my desire.

My desire leads me to know that it is possible, and that I can live in it.

I move peacefully and abundantly in each and every step I take toward my desire.

To Feel Good

After being surrounded by lies, it is good to filter them out.

Hearing what is good matches our vibration with the Universe.

In all the self-improvement literature, it stresses walking away or getting out of situations which act to our detriment.

It is important that we surround ourselves with positive environment, both within our own thoughts, and all around us wherever we work, do business, socialize, and with family.

I am learning more and more to do this for myself.

In certain cases, because I have a preferred outcome, I don’t do so well.

But the more I learn about feeling good within the body I occupy and the life I am living, the more consistently I come back to the inevitable conclusion to let go of my preferences.

I am gaining more insight on my real role in this world and the importance of carrying it out.

Everyone else is also involved in discovering their role and carrying it out as well.

We all have all the resources of the Universe.

These resources are being bestowed richly and are all helping raise the consciousness of all of us.

Yes, I am back to the important step in order to feel good of always, always trusting the Universe.

No Conflict of Interest

The conflict of interest we are seeing currently is an evolution, not a revolution.

Although we are used to seeing it as a fight over resources, whatever ideology is used, it is actually happening through a growing awareness.

Since there have always been solutions when generosity and compassion are at the core we will see this happen.

As we embrace the idea of compassion and generosity with insight in our individual lives, we will be drawn to others who practice in this same way.

Our conflict of interest will dissolve, and we will discover paths which take all parties into consideration with their real needs.

When we stop seeing ourselves in competition for limited resources, and start seeing all of us as both precious and important, we will act differently.

We will find different kinds of solutions and we will take care of all of us.

More Than Survival

All I wanted was to survive.

And I did.

I used every resource that I had, and I made it.

Not until much, much later, did I learn something more than survival was possible.

Until then, no matter how hard I worked, and there was quite a bit of abundance, it always came out to survival.

Now, I have new tools and I have been practicing them.

I embraced the possibility of more than survival, and practiced what I was learning.

Several years of practice have transformed how I think and act along with my expectations.

I now live on large acreage in the country, surrounded by beauty and peace and content. (From “The Song of the River” in The Blue Cat of Castletown)

I have room to expand my practice, to give more, and to release “my hidden splendor”.
(See Invisible Supply, by Joel Goldsmith)

I am truly living beyond survival.
