Being So Full

I am in love with who I am.

I have never been so full of happiness.

I have lots of problems which are not yet solved.

But I can feel new power in me.

I have never been around someone who loves herself as much as I love me.

No one in my family ever exhibited this feeling.

It is totally new to me.

It is expansive and generous.

It does not fear.

I have come so far, I feel that there are solutions for the rest.

I do not fear problems.

I now know how to listen and to be filled with love as the ideas pour in.

Outrage or Something Else?

Reaction.

Violence.

Fear.

Disbelief.

Disappointment.

Let us uplift.

Let us spread invention, solution.

Let us become so full of love, trust, delight and helpfulness that these overpower any other tendencies.

We have the means to do this.

We have unlimited resources with which to apply these practices.

Let us turn all our resources to forgiveness, peace, kindness, generosity, unselfishness.

Individually, we even have unlimited resources.

We will find ourselves drawn more and more to those who practice peace from within.

That will finally be the deterrent to violence.

Our governments are playing a different game.

But we can totally embrace a different viewpoint until those who lead with violence have no constituents in their kingdoms.

Everyone is living somewhere else.

Little Ripples

Once again, I am given the opportunity to add to the peace and calm or add to the concern.

By my lights, I am not even permitted to add to the concern.

I must add to the peace and calm.

You see, every thought we throw into the ring makes a little ripple.

The more throwing power we have, the greater the ripple.

The media is creating great ripples because of its throwing power.

But I have a little bitty counter.

I know that if I start a ripple from another direction, it will lessen the momentum of the giant ripple.

And so the little bitty ripple that I am starting is this.

I have a little pebble of peace.

My little pebble of peace is my thought that everyone is precious.

I see it in the eyes of little children, their preciousness.

I see it in the eyes of adults when I tell them how much I appreciate what they are doing.

I see it everywhere that i can express gratitude and recognition and support.

And so you see, we all have the opportunity, through our little pebbles of peace, to create many little ripples.

I am so grateful for the many people who add so much to my life.

You, and all of us, are very precious.
