Maintenance of Peace

It is so important to maintain our peace every day, all throughout the day.

Anything, and there are so many things, can unbalance us and cause us to lose our peace.

But we can get it back, even rapidly, when we make peace our priority.

Now, i enjoy my own opinion as much as anyone does, but I know that I often do not have all the information I need for a clear view of a situation.

So, if I find myself feeling outraged, I know that I have not given myself enough information to find out what I need to know.

I can calmly reflect on the situation, and then get more information, and then take action.

To counter many little harassments during the day, I know that I can simply give myself more time.

I do not have to rush.

I can move calmly and be more graceful.

I can be more thoughtful as I go about my business.

I can be more aware.

Taking my time to be aware and thoughtful and graceful allows me to incorporate being calm into my everyday movements and activities.

That way, I am not exhausted from lots of tiny reactions.

I am actually more rested at the end of the day.

Only the Peace Matters

None of it matters except the peace.

After going through turmoil or struggle, the goal is peace.

The problems must be solved, the puzzle figured out.

What are the causes of negative effects?

By digging down deeper and continually listening, the answers can be found.

Then the solution appears.

The answer is drawn by the question.

Even if there is no experience with peace or peaceful feelings, the answer appears.

By practicing this answer, instead of succumbing to the fear which engenders turmoil, peace begins to take root.

After that, more practice brings more and more peace.

Listening for answers by first asking the question, fills out the expression of peace.

Doing what brings peace, over and over again spreads the deep feelings of peace.

We become kinder to one another, support one another, loose our fear in exchange for peace and kindness.

Finding and expressing peace is what matters.

Desire for Peace

There is a greater desire for peace than ever before.

There is a desire among more people all over the world, and there is a more pronounced desire within the United States than ever before.

Our sense of peace has been eroded by politics and economics.

Where we trusted our Constitution and our leadership, we have evidence of corruption.

Because it has reached the alarming proportions of today, we find ourselves deeply motivated to find solutions.

Many solutions have been offered in past years, but now more people are aware of the need and they are actively searching for them.

Some of the ideas are appearing in individual posts.

Some of the solutions are appearing as books.

Some of the solutions are appearing as activists.

The old ways of repressing discontent have merely escalated.

They certainly do not address the problem.

Because of the desire for fairness and equality in so many ways and among so many nations, it has become a kind of world consciousness.

Perhaps, as we all go through the steps of consciousness and repression, we will find that consciousness is the stronger element.

Perhaps, this will impel solutions in unexpected ways.

Identity Through Peace

I am starting to get noticeable peace in my mind and body.

It enables me to separate from the chaos I experienced growing up.

It is proof that I can walk away from even long-term, lifelong effects.

I am able  to identify with how I feel now, as who I truly am.

The long process leading from acute discomfort was a motivation to discover something else.

The search has led me to many authors and books and workshops and their ideas and techniques.

At the base and at the beginning was the need to retrain my own thought to love me.

A simple statement, but with profound results either way it goes.

I prefer the positive way!

The peace that I feel, and can call up quickly at any time, is having a new effect within me.

I can turn my thought to new good friends and new activities.

My body is settling down.

It gives me ease and comfort even in the midst of troubling times.

The solutions are upon us as we address our acute discomfort as a nation.

We, too, can find a new identity through peace as we learn new techniques and retrain new attitudes and practice them.

We, too, can love all of us.

Cooperation Brings Peace

We all want the same things - harmonious family life and fulfilling work with a sense of purpose.

Instead of feeling separate from one another, in competition for limited resources, we can find ways to work together.

We can get whatever we need, not in competition with each other, but in cooperation.

As we appreciate the individual gifts we each have, we see how they fit together to make a harmonious community.

Each person’s talents help support others.

We do not have to do everything ourselves, but we can contribute what we are good at and what we enjoy doing.

That way our community is built out of joy.

We can do the practical little things which make living in community enjoyable and companionable.

With a sense of unlimited flow, we can give of our surplus, and share the overflow.

Once we empower all of us, we stand so much stronger and happier together.

Peace vs. Frenzy

Acting from deep peace creates a habit and a frame off mind that does not respond to frenzy.

When we pause to listen deep within, we feel the peace.

We are led to take the steps which create peace, and calm, thoughtful action.

Then we can be generous to ourselves and to our neighbors, both at home and abroad.

The confusion of so many minds trying to adjust to unsupportable conditions is disturbing.

But we can sort through the confusion and add to the peace with our clear vision and calm feeling.

Every time we remember that everyone is precious, and that they are valued, we establish a firmer footing for all of us.

Each time we listen to the difference between media pressure and gentle, unhurried consideration, we convey a more respectful attitude toward all of us.

The world search for balance is being achieved through higher awareness, although it looks like we are running back and forth to prevent it from overbalancing.

This higher awareness is pushing other selfish and partisan interests aside and sending out deep feelings of joy.

As we recognize the rights of all of us, it is a joyful experience to see the old paradigm being forced out.

We are finding a new balance and it includes all of us.

Deep Peace

The Deep Peace is a kind of peace that is not of this world.

I find it for myself by placing myself in a completely quiet frame.

It is a kind of meditation that lets go of seeking a solution or an answer or a result.

It is a meditation that just becomes “being”.

That is all.

That is the Deep Peace.

For me, it is easiest to find it when I am surrounded by Nature without any requirements on me.

I am learning to access this feeling wherever I am, now that I know that feeling.

I simply want it for tis own sake, even though I am able to see things get done really efficiently once I have been in Deep Peace for a while.

The experience itself is creating its own worth.

The Prosperity of Peace

Peace is a kind of prosperity in itself.

We do not worry when we are in a state of peace.

We have time to think about moving forward when we are in a state of peace.

We can make considered decisions.

We can move with grace, not hurry.

We celebrate the little things.

My goal is to practice the prosperity of peace right now.

To deliver myself from a state of worry by listening inwardly, quietly.

To feel the generosity of being able to make considered decisions.

To be quietly protective of my state of mind, my state of peace.

To celebrate the many little things.

That way, I am building a foundation for myself.

A foundation built on worry will not stand.

It will topple at any moment.

So, I build my foundation on peace.

Those little grains of ideas, moving into place, in harmony, will build a prosperity of peace.

Bullies and Solutions

I am not impressed by bullies.

I was bullied so many times, over and over as a kid.

I was a small, smart, white female.

I went to school with other white females and males in the 1950’s.

I used my intelligence to make my own life inside my own head.

I didn’t dare come out into the open or I would get hurt again.

But I kept learning things.

And I was disciplined and obedient, so I got ahead.

I have experienced discrimination and harassment.

But I keep finding solutions internally, reading and studying, and applying my new knowledge.

The blatant and egregious horrors we are experiencing through the media are not where I place my thought.

After I see a few news stories, and feel the emotional outrage against them, I remember how I recreated my life the first time.

I find constructive ways to use my mind and my time.

I worked with colleagues and taught  children from many different backgrounds, languages, belief systems.

They all learned how to read music, my profession at the time.

We can see beyond the emotional upset, and invest ourselves in supportive values of integrity.

So many of us were so deeply moved by the intelligence and compassion of Bernie Sanders.

We can take that positive energy and keep applying it everywhere we live and in everything we do.

When I think of government, I redirect my thought to that good feeling.

I will continue to find opportunities to improve my life and the lives of others by sharing how precious and valuable we each are.

Wealth and Justice

If we try to get wealth only for ourselves, we are not seeing the Universe’s Wealth.

If we try to get justice only for ourselves, we are not seeing the Universe’s Justice.

Wealth and justice are qualities which are inherent in every single person.

When we interpret wealth to mean a certain kind of currency, we cause an injustice to ourselves.

I have been finding out about my unlimited resources, which are a source of my wealth.

When I listen for ideas to express, I am drawing on my wealth.

The Universe provides very well for It’s own.

It would be unjust for It to do less.

The justice I am seeking uplifts our thought from personality, gender, political, economic and social status, and moves it back into the unlimited access that we all have for what we need.

Once again, this comes from within.

There will never be fairness and justice coming in to us from the outside.

When we know who we really are and draw on our wealth from within, we will also find our justice from within.

It seems really hard to say this with all the inequality being perpetuated.

But the justice which comes from within is starting to be felt in the hearts of so many more people.

This will gain momentum as more people become consciously aware and release their fear and selfishness.

When we start sharing our resources with all of us, we will all experience unlimited wealth and unlimited justice.

Do you have healing power?

Are you a peacemaker?

Do you know how to access the divine?

What healthy practices do you live by?

Do you know the source of your power?

How do you use your power?

What is the power in your relationships?

What is the power in your work?

Is your work uplifting to you?

What are you creating in your work?

Live by your power.

Making Decisions in Deep Peace

First of all, the feeling of Deep Peace is an amazing sensation.

Breathing in harmony with the Universe, not feeling rushed or pressured in any way.

Being quietly happy, taking my time, walking gracefully.

These are all part of the feeling of Deep Peace.

And then, to extend and enhance it even more, the experience of making decisions in Deep Peace.

No hurry, the sense of absolute confidence, with nothing to compare it to, nothing to give it a rating.

The quiet power of a decision made in Deep Peace.

Absolute, confident good.

No second guessing.

Just the amazing feeling of rightness.

The go-ahead is implicit.

The resources are a given.

The feeling of blessedness in all directions - creating, manifesting, receiving, giving, receiving, giving, receiving, giving.

The cycle of good, beauty, creativity reaching through and outward to all.

This ads to the feeling of harmony and peace all over the world.

It is happening, in every heart.

When we move at the level of Deep Peace, there is a connection with everyone.

PTSD and More Healing Light

Little by little more healing light is coming into my and my husband’s lives.

We both have PTSD issues when dealing with finances.

For both of us, the person who taught us about handling money was our abusive fathers.

Abusive in different ways, but the absolute fear and terror from those past experiences leaked over into financial matters.

As we have been inspired to clear up other issues, aided greatly by our daily study of ”A Course in Miracles” (we are beginning our second time through), lesser issues have come to the fore.

We have not been able to choose the timing, intensity or the order of importance.

We only know that certain things seem to come up, and then, finally, to be resolved.

I am so grateful for any and all help in these long-term, low-grade, terrifying issues.

For instance, we are both able to keep asking questions, now, until we understand how to process various financial information, simple stuff that our grown kids have been doing for years and years.

We know how to keep breathing through the panic attacks that hit us, and to keep going, or at least to come back, until we can interpret and complete various financial forms.

We are discovering that our PTSD has nothing whatsoever to do with the things we are good at.

But it has hampered us in various other ways, which seem so obviously simple to other people.

We could never explain it before, even to ourselves.

Now that things are settling down to a form they can be dealt with, we are both very grateful to be able to see the problems be defined, and then solved.

This happens repeatedly on some issues until we get them under control, and quickly with other issues.

Even to feel it happening at all has been such a gift.

Knowing that it is continuing in such a gentle and pervasive way is truly amazing.
