Restfulness

I love resting in my new life.

I am doing the things I enjoy.

I am learning new skills.

I am eating better through cooking better.

I can share my skills with others and have them appreciated.

This is all progress for me.

Letting go of the anxiety created by being so far from what I truly am, and finding my home and purpose and living differently is great.

I find myself surrounded by those of like mind.

We share ideals and have many different approaches to what we are doing through our different lives.

It is refreshing and peace-giving.

Even with all the work there is to be done to carry out our ideas, I find it restful to be in the presence of people who love to serve and uplift.

Going Very Local

The commotion that is erupting all over is showing us that we have no further need of the institutions which got us this far.

Even by fixing the minimum wage and equal pay for both genders and addressing climate change and stopping the wars, we are still running out of resources.

So what does the new system look like?

How does it feel to live in small communities and to raise local food?

How does it feel to do meaningful work as lots of little cottage industries?

How does it feel to know and like your neighbors?

What can you do?

Where do you fit in?

What do you actually know how to do that you can supply for people who don’t need to travel to work and who live right in the neighborhood?

That is one way to start thinking about your very local business.

Produce gardens?

Home bakery and deliveries?

Baby sitting and child care?

Errands?

Bookkeeping for the other very small businesses in your neighborhood?

Yard work?

Computer repair?

Music and art lessons?

Construction/wood shop?

House repair and maintenance?

Personal chef?

How would your neighborhood work if all these things and more were right there, very local?

Discovering Peace and Happiness

First of all, it is your journey, your life, your path.

You will encounter what you will.

You will have the experiences which come to you in a random manner until you learn how to direct them.

You will use the resources you have until you learn how to gain other resources.

Then, if you are insistent enough, you will gain your sense of purpose.

As you continue to explore, you will gain a sense of direction.

And you will find your happiness, and with it your peace.

It is there for you.

Feeling the New Balance

It is so easy to work from a place of peace.

Following through on what you want to do and doing it takes you out of conflict with yourself, and gives you a lot of peaceful energy in your life.

You can do what is important to you.

You can do simple things.

You can do what you love.

You are not trying to make up for anything.

You are not trying to talk yourself into anything.

You are not overriding your own needs and desires over and over again.

It’s amazing to find out who’s been in there all these years.

I like her.

I enjoy her.

I like being her.

My Peace

When I am deeply conscious of my quietude and go within, I can feel the deep peace from which I come.

Although my life does not reflect this all the time, I am making it more and more of my reality.

It is healing my body and my soul as I realize how my worlds overlap.

I can bring the good things into my life as I realize where they come from, and I can banish the negative ones as I spend more and more time in the life I prefer.

What is good and bright and radiant and true is the heritage I choose.

I leave behind that which does not benefit me.

I let the peace which comes from an unending Source fill me up and overflow.

I simply hold it and hold it until it radiates all around me.

I am in a safe and happy place and love the people and ideas which surround me.
