To Calm the Waters

When there are disturbed waters in a pond or body of water, one way of calming them is to toss in a pebble.

The concentric circles sent out from the center where the pebble landed take over the disturbance and wash over it and calm it into the rhythm of the concentric circles.

When a disturbed thought comes to mind, the way to calm it is to send out a feeling of love from one’s own center.

Just keep loving one’s self and let the concentric circles of love wash over the entire area, including the disturbed thought.

Replenishing this center of love constantly, keeps the circles of love ever-expanding until there is no threat of disturbance.

The negative thoughts and actions may continue, but they never set off a disturbance.

In the wake of love, comes beauty, calm, fulfillment, all good things.

All good things fills up an awful lot of space.
