As I woke up this morning and began thinking about the day, I could feel myself gearing up for it.
Before I even got out of bed, I realized I was feeling tense and reacting to the various topics I was thinking about.
Fortunately, I stopped myself, and began telling myself what I wanted to feel.
“I am peaceful.”
After establishing that with myself, I continued planning my day.
I am using “I am peaceful” as a reference point for what I am doing today.
