This is the only answer I know for Betrayal.
It is Forgiveness.
I used to think that one of the benefits of betrayal was that you got to know who your friends really are.
But now, after several more years, I have found a much more comprehensive and far-reaching answer, Forgiveness.
I found this through reading Collin Tipping’s book, Radical Forgiveness.
In it, he states that if you are simply willing to look at the situation differently and then follow his worksheet, you can find yourself in a different place.
I was willing.
So now, I have a new approach and a new view and a way to move on and not carry so much of the old baggage.
And I can keep refining this process and drop more baggage each time I go through it.
I am so relieved to find a new way to forgive.
I was really tired of my unsuccessful efforts before.
Thank you, Collin Tipping.

Tangible Peace
I am beginning to love the challenge of finding and contributing peace within and all around me.
This has taken a lot of research and development of new skills and tools.
But what I have found is that we are actually made of peace.
Our bodies are designed to operate at maximum performance when we are peaceful.
We are alert, gracious, ready to respond, inventive, imaginative and strong when we are peaceful.
Our minds are also made of peace.
When given the choice, we always revert to peace.
We may have been negatively emotionally impacted and have to learn our way back to peace, but peace is our native mental and emotional home.
When we establish this mental harmony and dip into our never ending spiritual source, we naturally find peace.
Surrounding ourselves with images and words and meanings of peace helps bring it into our hearts.
It helps make it more present to ourselves.
And it helps establish an atmosphere of peace all around us that others can actually feel.

Chaos and Direction
In the midst of a large disrupting and frantic event, how do we acquire our peace?
The same way we acquire it when we feel sick or unhappy or depressed.
We listen for the deep direction within us.
It takes just a breath to remind ourselves that good is happening, that the grief and dismay all around us are from the outside view.
The view from the inside is always peace.
This view will lead us to take definite effective steps in the midst of chaos and danger.
It will make us effective and strong leaders.
The habit of trusting our intuition and the willingness to practice listening at any time becomes the habit that takes care of us and those around us in the best ways.
The peace and direction is always there, from the first time we ask for it until forever.

Peace With My Life
I have received incredible wealth.
I didn’t know it would look like this.
Look at my wealth of experiences!
Look what they have taught me.
Look at the strength I have gained.
Look at how much I have to share now.
I am truly amazed.
This is a very different life from the one I expected.
If I had known to ask for this one, I am not sure I
would have had the courage!

Independent Peace
Today, I realize my peace is not dependent on anyone else’s views.
It is completely dependent on my view alone.
I am able to cultivate my own view and to see it all around me.
My own view is very generous.
My own view is very positive.
I wish well for everyone.
I wish for all of us to reach our highest estate.
I am grateful for the opportunity to cultivate a new and higher view of peace for myself.

Today's Peace
Today’s peace comes form the fact that
I know how to love myself.
At any given time, I can return to this new fact.
I am so peaceful in the knowing of this fact.
I love myself.
I, finally, do no need outside indicators of security.
I know that in listening for my love for myself,
I will be directed to whatever I need.
I will be able to fulfill my purpose.
I will connect effortlessly.
I will perform effortlessly.
Sincere friendships and community will appear
effortlessly.
I am in tune with who I am, and everyone who is tuned
truly to themselves and their Source is in tune with me.
That is my peace and my joy.

Presence of Peace
Today, there is more peace than ever.
Despite the loud views presented, the deep quiet ones are the most powerful.
The sweet within.
The quiet within.
The precious within.
The gentle within.
The treasured within.
The lovely within.
The harmonious and beautiful.
Within.
That is the presence of peace.
We can wear it without as well as within.
