Doing Things to Get Ready

I am not always sure what the right way is.

I can feel it though, when it is not ready.

When I was learning to play the cello to a professional level, I had teachers who would tell me when I was ready to perform a piece, take an audition, apply for a scholarship.

I know that standard.

But now, I am doing different things on my own, and I am not always sure when the “ready” happens.

So, for now, I go back and check to see if there is anything else that would make it better.

I listen within for the ideas.

Then I do those things.

I am doing that a lot lately, so I know things are getting closer to “ready”.

I am sure I will feel it when things are at their best point and ready to go.

Then they will happen.

The World Situation

As the world situation gets more and more aggravated, I am forced to realize that the solutions lie in directions that I, within my cultural setting, cannot imagine.

But I do know there are solutions.

Since I do not know what they are, I am able to turn my thought inward to consider the Source of all life, and therefore, of all solutions.

Treading on the ground of those who take lives to pay with their own lives has not worked so far.

It has been tried for several thousand years, and we have made no visible progress.

So there is another way to look at it which we, as world citizens, have not found yet.

But we hear ideas.

We learned about forgiveness and reconciliation in South Africa.

We have learned about “Be Peace” in Costa Rica.

We have learned about random number generator (RNG) computers and the effects that the thoughts of large numbers of people converging in the same direction can have.

We have learned about HeartMath.

There are many visionaries who are communicating ideas beyond what has ever been tried.

And we are all coming to some of the same conclusions.

That is has to be different.

That it has to be something we each discover within ourselves.

That it has to be larger than any one group.

Only then can the larger, more peaceful view take effect.

Higher Consciousness

Although it may not look like it, we are moving to a state of consciousness which values everyone.

The uproar in thought has erupted once again on the streets.

Every child is precious.

All lives, including all races, matter.

There are so many opportunities for reform to allow respect and care for everyone.

We, as a country, were moving in that direction in the 1960’s.

The opposition to this kind of thinking appears to be moving us backwards.

But, it is not.

The backlash is accelerating and bringing in higher consciousness at greater and greater momentum.

What an astounding and marvelous thing is happening for all of us.

Sticking to One Goal

In some of the prosperity literature and workshops I have taken, the essentail point was to stick to your one most important goal.

The idea behind that is that the Universe is working to bring you what you are focused on.

If you keep changing it, nothing will ever actually manifest, because there are so many conflicting messages.

At first, I found it hard to decide what my one goal was, but then, I kept watching where my thought went, and what gave me the most satisfaction.

Then, it became possible.

I do see progress happening now.

My core goal satisfies me completely.

There are many aspects to it and so I find myself meditating and then led to take action on various tasks, all headed toward the one goal.

And the result?

All along the way, I am satisfied and happy as the next step appears and then the next and the next.

I am so glad that it doesn’t mean the goal has to be accomplished in order to experience happiness.

I am enjoying this journey all along the way.

Detaching

Detaching myself from the fears being perpetuated from the media lets in the light of my true conciousness and practical knowledge.

It lets me take the practical steps of listening for inspiration and then acting on it.

In this way, I was able to detach myself from the fear elements in various news stories and find my way not only to inner peace, but to practical steps for creating and promoting and releasing my product line.

This is taking longer than I expected, but it is embracing and encompassing more than I knew to include at the outset.

So, I am very satisfied with this method of business development.

Being Alert

By standing up and being alert, we save ourselves a lot of grief.

Media harassment, unnecessary regulatory calls, authoritarian-sounding queries are examples of exploitation, rather than examples of compassion.

Once we are involved in sharing our gifts, it is easier and easier to detect the opposite.

A friend told me of yet, another, example.

Fortunately, he caught it.

I feel it was due to a heightened ability brought on by aligning himself with his true purpose and work.

When we are not conflicted within ourselves, we have a steady and true light.

Our energy is pure and strong.

We are able to share what is good by being authentic to our deep core values.

Then, it is harder to distract us through deception.

In reading and studying any one of Napoleon Hill’s very principled approaches to lifework, we are alerted to the ways in which a strong positive practice is developed.

The opposite very easily undoes us.

Fortunately, Hill’s work shows us many of those pitfalls.

I am grateful for those who write and practice good work and alertness.

I am glad to part of this growing network.

What Gives Me Peace Right Now?

I have escaped the building holiday frenzy and am back in my cozy home, cooking.

Someone I contacted at a business actually saved me some materials that were going to be thrown away.  Hurray!

I have organic soil-compost mix for a container garden.

My husband has brought home the hole saw to drill holes in the container.

My cousin liked the salsa-lasagna that I cooked.

I have canned two batches of pumpkin.

I expressed appreciation to my husband for cutting up the pumpkin.

I have gained inspiration from a new craft magazine.

I have bought a portable cutting board that will let me take a step forward on several projects.

I folded the laundry.

I have calmed my thought by reading a chapter in an inspirational book.

I have let my husband solve his dilemma and concentrated on my own next step.

I ate a small piece of chocolate (actually two small pieces).
